I decided to take a break from getting ready for the Maricopa Children's Expo tomorrow. Jonah and I were having a blast making our little family. The website is http://www.becomeanmm.com/

Last week, I took the boys to the playground and started chatting with the neatest couple. When they told me their baby was only a week old, my heart skipped a beat. Then I got the phone call to come and take pictures over the weekend! What a pleasure! As I talked with this couple, I just liked them more and more. They are such a fun, talented, and smart family. Thank you for having me over! She is a beauty (even if she doesn't like to be naked- that's probably a good thing...haha!)

Spikey

We got a fish! Earlier in the week, we went to the dollar store and sitting right there at the boys' eye level was a shelf full of brightly colored beta fish. Jonah's eyes got big. He's been wanting a fish for a while now. The only person we had to convince was Scott, who wasn't that hard after I told him for every dollar you spend, you get entered into a raffle to win a WII(sp?). So...meet Spikey!

Last night, while tucking the boys in, Jonah said, "Momma, I hope Spikey likes his new home."
I said, "Well, you can just ask Jesus to help him like it here," and I continued to tuck Simon as Jonah jabbered away. After I was finished with Simon, I asked Jonah what he was saying. He said abruptly, "Momma, quiet, I'm talking to God."

America's Next Top Model!

Everyone that knows me well, knows that I LOVE babies, especially newborns. Last night, I had the honor to photograph "Miss H". She was absolutely perfect and only 5 days old. Thank you S & C for the honor. She's an angel and you are blessed. I hope "Mister C" enjoyed his chocolately chocolate bar :) Many blessings!

Nobody can argue with me that I have the best dad in the world (except my kids for their daddy.) I mean it! I don't think there is anything he wouldn't do for me, my four sisters, and my mom. I will forever miss waking up to a new breakfast creation or going to a new sporting event to "try it out." Everything I tried, even if I wasn't the best, he made me feel like I was the best and was proud of me for trying. He loves people and loves the Lord more. He is an amazing preacher in Cotopaxi, Colorado. If you're ever up that way, he would love to have you over and tell you great stories of youth or some other fascinating story that has happened to him during his life.

Scott took one! He's learning more and more to teach me everyday.

We stayed up late last night playing with the camera features. I'm sure we'll use this feature sometimes :) SCARY! We laughed so hard! I love nights like that!

Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! He lets me rest in meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors him the most.

I like this translation of this verse. I've recited this verse hundreds of times but it hit me a little differently this time.

This week is VBS at the church. Jonah is having so much fun. Scott is working in recreation and I have my hands full working in the nursery. Maybe that's why this verse hit me differently :)
