Picture of the Day

Not that this picture is perfect in any way, but I love it. It is perfectly unperfect. I remember that Mommy M and I were just talking and she was rubbing her belly and smiling with delight. I tried to catch that moment because I know how it feels.

One of my best friends from high school had her first baby last week. I was chatting with her today and I loved what she wrote after I asked her, "Are you just in love, or what?" She replied,
"YES!!! I knew that I would love my baby, however, this is much more awesome than you can ever imagine!"

Isn't that so true?

We are busy packing up and painting this week. The big move is supposed to be taking place this Saturday. The house looks great. I'll try to get some pictures up but I keep leaving the camera over there. It may have to wait until we get over there.

WHEN? Saturday, September 22nd ~ 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm
WHERE? 44480 W. Honeycutt Rd, Suite 106
WHY? To encourage Zachary in his fight with cancer.
COST? $15/child and $5 for each additional child in the family. Includes an 8x10 for each child.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to Zach and his family.

WHAT ELSE?
Each child that comes in will make a funny face to be put in a photobook for Zachary to look at every day so he knows we are thinking about him.

my birthday

Yesterday I turned 26. Scott informed me that I am now in my late 20s. I feel every bit of it and some. Heather and Tony came down from the Springs to see us. It was great to see some of my family. We went night swimming, ate ABTS cake, and played games. Scott brought me home these roses last night. One of the kids always helps me arrange them. I thought this picture was priceless so I added a note to myself :) What more could I ask for? A new house, you say, well...Scott is signing the final closing papers as type.
